Notaday Documentation

Notaday is a focused productivity workspace for capturing tasks, routines, ideas, and personal reflections in one place. It combines a fast daily timeline, a backlog for later, a journal, a Daybreak AI briefing, a daily shutdown ritual, channels, tags, and an API-token system for third-party integrations.

What Notaday Helps With

  • Capture tasks, routines, journal notes, and ideas without deciding where everything belongs first.
  • Keep today's work visible in the Timeline while saving non-urgent items in the Backlog.
  • Organize entries with channels, tags, due dates, completion state, and connections between related entries.
  • Build a journaling practice with mood, location, weather, reflection prompts, handwriting, and a distraction-free editor.
  • Start the day with Daybreak, a Pro AI briefing for today's priorities, upcoming work, and stale journal updates.
  • End the day with a guided Daily Shutdown that pre-fills a new journal entry.
  • Allow third-party tools to create, read, update, and organize Notaday data using API tokens.
