A native desktop app that wraps the Notaday web app in its own window, with a Dock icon and its own app switcher entry. It's a universal build (Apple Silicon and Intel).

Installing

1. Open the downloaded Notaday.dmg and drag Notaday into your Applications folder.
2. Double-click Notaday to launch it.

If macOS Blocks The App From Opening

The app isn't notarized by Apple yet, so Gatekeeper may refuse to open it with a message like "Apple could not verify that this app is free of malware." This happens on every first install — here's how to get past it, no Apple Developer account needed:

Option A — Terminal:

xattr -cr /Applications/Notaday.app

This removes the quarantine flag macOS attaches to downloaded files. Afterward, Notaday opens normally.

Option B — System Settings:

Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the message about Notaday being blocked, and click Open Anyway. Confirm once more when prompted.

Where To Find This In The App

Open Notaday and use the sidebar action labeled Get more out of Notaday. It opens shortcuts for the Discord community, the Raycast extension, the Claude MCP server, and the macOS app download.
